They have my application form
Motability received my application. Kelly, the lady who deals with grant applications says it looks good. She called me earlier today to let me know it arrived, sadly I missed the call, but called her back a little later. She seems to think I forgot to put a wage slip in, I don’t think I did, emailed her a scanned copy anyway. She will pass the form onto the assessors, sadly it could take 2 months to be assessed. Apparently they bring a car round, filled with loads of adaptions, get to see what suits me. After that, from time of placing the order of the car, depending on what adaptions are needed, it could take up to 6 months to get the car. That is an epically long wait. I sure hope that is a worst case scenario type thing, I can’t imagine it takes that long to fit a ramp, some hand controls and make the drivers seat spin? Who knows, but I am sure it will be worth the wait.
